Sylvia has worked hand-in-hand with 2020, the world leading interior design software firm. 2020 has developed a software (2020 Design) allowing to create, furnish and decorate a room in 3D. To enhance the user experience, she allowed her paintings to be integrated within the project. Since the software is distributed around world, Sylvia’s paintings are shared with users worldwide. Art knows no boundaries!

Sylvia, France and Andrée are three friends; three mothers. All three were faced with the worst: the death or illness of a child. After these life ordeals, they decided to sublimate their experiences through an artistic creation process and formed the Triad collective. From this union was born the idea to make a book. The project from this collective touched the heart of Jean-Pierre Ferland, who accepted to pair his songs’ lyrics to their artwork.

Une chance qu’on s’a offers up a message of hope to everyone confronted with life ordeals and their relatives. The readers are encouraged to incorporate their own words to Ferland’s songs: elegantly lined spaces allow words to be written to a family member to express what we feel. Book sales will help collect donations (3$ on each book) for three organizations Triad and Jean-Pierre Ferland hold dear: Suicide Action, the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada and the Canadian Cancer Society.

Sylvia DiLore, France Leblanc and Andrée Bastien are three brilliant business women. Together, they founded Triad. The distinguishing feature of their artwork is that they are jointly created with a printmaking technique called “monotyping”. First, paint is applied on a nonporous surface. Then, using a printing-press, the image is transferred onto a sheet of paper to create a unique artwork.

Author, singer and songwriter from Quebec, Jean-Pierre Ferland accepted to freely publish, for one of the rare occasions in his career, the lyrics from his songs, some of which are among his biggest hits.
